The
parlour is the most elegant room in the house.
It was used only for special occasions. The
woodwork in this room is birdseye maple.
The
chandelier, original to the room, was wired for
electricity and plumbed for gas lighting. Notice
the parquet floors in each room have a different
pattern. The Carl Brenner painting over the loveseat
and the mantel clock are on loan from the
