The archive room is now a repository for items related to the house, St James Court and the Old Louisville neighborhood.  On the table above are copies of diaries kept during the 1937 flood.  The stained glass panel removed from the dining room when Haskins Hall was added.

 


Of special interest are the 1893-1895 construction photographs,  and the elegant little party favors called "Dresdens".  books of poetry by Madison Cawein, Kentucky's first Poet Laureate are in the bookcase. Click on the framed prints above to view larger images.
